Ivana Trump’s funeral will be held at 1:30pm on Wednesday at the more than a century old Gothic-style church in the borough of Manhattan.
With its granite roof and tall stained-glass window, St. Vincent Ferrer Church — on the borough’s expensive Upper East Side — lends grandeur to the funeral expected to be attended by the former president.
Ivana Trump, a 73-year-old businesswoman, was the first of Donald Trump’s three wives. She is a one-time professional confidante and mother to his three eldest children, Ivanka Trump, Donald Trump, Jr. and Eric Trump.
And although no guest list has been released for Tuesday’s private mass, 76-year-old Donald Trump took his three children to a Roman Catholic mass where Andy Warhol worshiped and suggested the funeral of the one-time vice president. Presidential candidate Geraldine Ferraro was also held.
The former president was widely reported to be on good terms with Ivana Trump, who was found dead at the bottom of a spiral staircase in the city on Thursday.
Her death was ruled accidental by the New York City Medical Examiner’s Office, citing blunt force trauma from the fall.
Another show that Donald Trump plans to attend is that he arrived in New York on Monday dressed for a funeral, combining the announcement of Ivana Trump’s death with a request for political donations. He was dressed in black as he and former first lady Melania Trump entered the Trump Tower on Manhattan’s Fifth Avenue from their SUV, the Daily Mail reported.

Other widowers, weeping or otherwise, do not live in the pitch.
Ivana Trump was married once before and twice to Donald Trump, but she outlived all three of those husbands. The last one, Rossano Rubicondi, was only nine months old.
And as for the surrogate wives – again, crying or otherwise – it is unclear whether Donald Trump’s second and third wives will be involved.

“Ms. Trump has made the White House home to Barron and the President,” the statement said. “She loves living in Washington, D.C. and enjoys her role as First Lady of the United States. She plans to use her title and role to help children, not sell books.”
The incendiary response continued, “This previous statement clearly has no substance. It’s just an attention-seeking and self-serving rant.”
If the relationship between Ivana Trump and her successor, Marla Maples, Donald Trump’s second wife, appears to be still frozen, it would be surprising if she or her daughter, Tiffany Trump, were present.
Ivana Trump and Maples have been at loggerheads since the Broadway star Georgia Donald Trump began an open affair with the younger woman.
Ivana Trump told People magazine in 2016 that she would never forgive Maples, whose animosity hurt her. There has been no public evidence of the two reforms since then.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested that donations be made to a charity close to Ivana Trump’s heart, Big Dog Farm Rescue in Florida.
“Ivana Trump was an incredible woman – a force in business, a world-class athlete, a radiant beauty and a caring mother and friend,” the charity said in a statement asking the family on its donation and tribute page.
“Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and strength, compassion and determination.
“Ivana was involved with many charitable organizations throughout her life, but always remained steadfast and passionate about her love for animals. In lieu of flowers, we kindly ask that you support Ivana’s mission to help dogs and donate to a great dog breeder.”

The outlet St. Vincent is, appropriately, the saint of builders; Ivana Trump had a hand in many of her husband’s developments during their marriage, including becoming CEO of a casino resort in Atlantic City.
