MARTINSBURG – Jeff Honstein had two doubles and two RBI, Griffin Snowberger had three hits, Baron Dionis had three hits and four runs scored, Britton Marko scored three runs, Kyle Klotz had three RBI, Dalton Metzger had three doubles and Lucas Black had two hits. He had two hits and three RBIs Wednesday afternoon at Central’s top-ranked Chestnut Ridge, 15-5.

The win snapped a two-game losing streak at Central after the Dragons’ 34-game winning streak.

For Ridge: Nate Wissong and Garrett Emerick both had three goals.

Caleb Mountain picked up the win, striking out seven for the Dragons.

Jasper won the fight

MARION CENTER — Ty Stockley’s RBI single in the fifth inning to score Stephen Nehlen was all it took for sophomore starter Garrett Jasper in Cambria Heights’ 1-0 win at Marion Center.

Jasper went six innings, allowed just three hits and struck out 12 for the Highlanders.
