Don’t let summer pass you by without scoring one last chance to get out in Michigan — even if it’s just an overnight adventure. So many people make it to the end of August and realize they’ve let the chance of a sun-drenched vacation at a great beach slip through their busy fingers. This doesn’t have to be you.
Many tourist spots in Michigan are offering late summer or early fall deals. Some are resorts located near our favorite vacation towns. Others are cities where you can find great downtown restaurants, then drive to the shores of Lake Michigan to catch a summer sunset.
We’re sharing Pure Michigan’s August travel deals. These include savings at popular spots like the Mackinac Island Grand Hotel and resorts like Highlands at Harbor Springs. For Grand Traverse Bay fans, there are also package deals to be had in Traverse City.
