Penn State sisters are gearing up to host their annual fashion show to raise money for domestic violence prevention and awareness on the runway.

The fashion show will be held on Sunday, April 23 at 6pm at the Heritage Hall in the HUB. The event features a variety of Penn State students as models.

According to a post on Instagram from Sisters on the Runway, the event will include a variety of performances from student organizations, raffles and performances from resources within the Penn State community.

Penn State’s first and only Irish dance club, Rains and Lions, will perform on the fashion show stage. Attendees can also purchase gift cards and raffle basket tickets from places like Vibe Coffee Co., Barnes & Noble and more.

Although admission to the fashion show is free, the organization accepts and encourages donations by check or cash. All proceeds from the event will be donated to CenterSafe, a local nonprofit that provides resources and support to victims of sexual and domestic violence.

This year’s event is sponsored by Lions Pride, 3 Dots Downtown, Lock Boutique and many other local businesses.
