Friday January 20, 2006 I wish I could hold onto the joy of staying to watch the latest Disney Channel Original Movie. I finished eighth grade one day. I may be weeks away from making the basketball C team. Low-rise jeans were in style, and I didn’t want to be the lead in the music because I wanted to take a band instead of a choir. The necklines were layered and long enough to tuck into your jeans. I finally got a hairdresser and started burning my poor waves.
I really wanted to grow up, but I also wanted to not miss a new Disney Channel Original Movie. From the first duet in the ski lodge, I fell in love High school musical– and everyone seems to be the same. About 8 million People watched it with me that Friday night. It has spawned three feature-length series, a stage adaptation, and a comedy television series brought to us by the talented Ms. Olivia Rodrigo.
And now, I’m being teased by the stars of mainstream movies.
First, three weeks ago, Vanessa Hudgens posted this photo on Instagram. She’s at East High, wearing a rosary like T for Troy???
Then, today on Slow News Friday, Zac Efron posted this:
“Don’t forget… don’t forget me ✊🏼” is the caption. forget you?? How can I, Zac?
How can I forget the time when everything was easy in my life? I didn’t go out. I’m not in high school yet or I’m heartbroken. I haven’t been told yet that I’m terrible at basketball.
Plus, the sartorial vision of that exact moment is back with a vengeance. Low jeans They are trying to make the hip bones appear again. Baby Tims And microskirts, which less than one percent of society can really pull off, are showing up. Useless fair Covers And TikTok. I don’t think I can escape the fashion of things; So it’s only fitting that I return to one of the art classes from that time.
In short: if you guys are going to be proud of me, now is the worst time to do it. I really like everything you make fun of.
