Participating students will receive a free backpack filled with school supplies, while supplies last

Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls USA is partnering with The Salvation Army, United Way of Greater Niagara and Boys & Girls Club of Niagara Falls to distribute backpacks filled with school supplies for the annual Back to School event.

On Saturday, August 20th from 1-5pm, members of these organizations will give away 500 backpacks to local students, while supplies last in Entry 6.

“Our back-to-school event is something we look forward to every year. It’s a really great way for different members of our community to come together and support our local students and families,” said Susie Swiatkowski, Marketing Manager of Fashion Outlets of Niagara Falls. “It gives us an opportunity to make an even bigger impact. All three of these organizations are doing amazing things for our community, and we’re even more excited to start the 2022 school year with them.”

The back-to-school event is open to the public, with no cost associated with admission.

Families are invited to stop by fashion outlets, enjoy always-party music from a local DJ, grab a free bag as the last item in stock, and score some deals at participating retailers.

Students, pre-K through high school, must be present to receive a bag, while supplies last.

Guests will also be able to view the exterior’s new “Kindness Is Fashion” mural displayed on the windows of Entry 3. The mural is part of a community project by local artist Ali Price that launched earlier this month. The painting is created with the premise of spreading unity, love and kindness to the Western New York community.
