Here, I explore the dynamic relationship between emerging technologies and human crises, highlighting the possibilities and ethical considerations that arise from this nexus.

Artificial intelligence and automation
Artificial intelligence (AI) and automation have the potential to transform various industries, leading to greater efficiency, productivity and convenience. AI-powered systems can automate repetitive tasks, improve decision-making processes, and improve customer experiences. The spread of AI and automation, however, raises the threat of job displacement as machines take over tasks performed by humans. This technological transition requires proactive measures to redevelop and develop the workforce, ensure a smooth transition and minimize the negative impact on their well-being and financial status.

The large amount of sensitive data collected by IoT devices increases the risk of cyber attacks and unauthorized access. Developing strong security measures is critical to protect personal data and ensure safe and ethical use of IoT technologies.
Biotechnology and genetic engineering

In the World Economic Forum’s report – Harnessing Technology for the Global Goals, it highlighted the significant role digital technology can play in improving resilience to natural disasters related to global warming, reducing emissions and enabling humanity to take action.
