How Lisa Rinna Became Fashion’s Favorite Housewife

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills Fans need no introduction to Lisa Rinna. The actor-turned-entrepreneur-reality star, who is married to Hollywood actor Harry Hamlin, is polite, outspoken and often controversial. She made headlines for her enduring storm of drama on the Bravo television show’s eight seasons. After leaving the show in January, Rina is now back in her element and has caught the eye of the fashion industry with her constant appearances at Fashion Month. “It’s been a lot of fun before, but I have to admit, I didn’t expect to recommend it so quickly,” says Rina. Vogue On life after the show. “It’s been a long time in the making, but it really makes sense that it all happened so quickly.”

Multi-hyphenate – reading is grown Vogue magazine — based in Medford, Oregon — and inspired by her mother’s style — has spent the last two months touring fashion capitals for the Fall Winter 2023 shows. Of course, the internet can’t be enough to witness all of this. From sitting front row at Haute Couture Fashion Week in Paris as well as New York City, London, Milan and Paris Fashion Weeks to walking the Rotate show in Copenhagen in a leopard print swimsuit, Rina’s fashion month schedule was back-to-back. She even received a special shout-out from Zwei at the off-set Mugler show (“My baby is mine,” she announced into the microphone, much to the delight of the crowd). “I’ve had a freakin’ ball — I’ve been blessed with all these amazing moments,” she enthuses. Vogue. “But if I wear it That’s what he said. A wig for the Vivienne Westwood show – which felt like something special – and created such a stir on the Internet. Or as I said.”

A silk floral Richard Quinn cape dress, a standout Dilara Findikoglu look complete with thigh-high stockings, and an all-black ensemble in Givenchy were among Rena’s other notable fashion month looks. She also rocked several eye-catching looks at the after party, from a chic jale and baggy jeans combo to a silk lace-trimmed slip dress. How did Rina keep her energy up for a month of fashion shows? “It’s important to have dynamic glam and I was lucky to be able to work with the same team as a whole,” she says. “Also, a good hotel to stay in—not necessarily expensive, just comfortable—is key. Also, exercise: you’ll have to do a lot of walking, so be prepared for that!”

Last season we saw Reena’s daughter Amelia Gray model on the runways for Diesel, Balchiga and Vivienne Westwood. But Gray has had to drop all of her show commitments for Fall/Winter 2023, which is the ultimate goal for most rising models, as she landed an exclusive relationship with Miu Miu. “I’m proud of her and everything she’s done — she’s done everything for herself,” Rays said. “A year ago she couldn’t even book a show in Paris, but now look at her solo at Miu Miu – her life has completely changed and I couldn’t be happier for her.”

What’s next for Rina? “I don’t think I can share yet,” she says. “But my mind is about to be blown, because my mind is blown—you wouldn’t believe it.” We can’t wait to see what she has up her sleeve.
