Kwan’s red dress celebrates Evelyn’s (Michelle Yeoh) red sweater at the Lunar New Year party in “Everything, Everywhere at Once.” The film swept the Oscars, winning a total of seven awards, including Best Picture.

Melissa McCarthy’s Christian Siriano gown was completely redone days before the Oscars after the designer’s studio flooded.

Siriano joked in an interview with E! The experience was “the shock of my life.”

“I wasn’t going to say anything about what actually happened because I didn’t want the actress who was wearing something to know that her costume was completely made up,” he told E!

Ruth E. Carter matched her acceptance speech with a strapless yellow gown.
