Heron Preston presents bold streetwear for his first New York Fashion Week show.

The black-owned brand looks to a future where fashion doesn’t take itself too seriously and revels in experimentation, demonstrating an honest relationship with its audience. Heron Preston presents an impossibly cool and playful collection for Fall/Winter 2023, creating a high-low aesthetic that effortlessly blends chainmail dresses and baggy sweatpants. Ranging in hues from deep black to electric green, the offering is home to fur-trimmed mini dresses, ripped denim crop tops and mesh kittens.

The designer marries colorful gym shorts with stylish fur coats, combining feminine and demure tweed collections over spacious loungewear and balaclavas. Other highlights include a picture-perfect Y2K corset worn over an otherwise basic white hoodie and distressed jeans. Long-sleeved t-shirts with provocative phrases sit alongside motocross-inspired jackets and flirty open lace blouses. Accessories include furry moon boots, hats that read “STFU” Matrix-Stylish sunglasses and ski-ready goggles, as well as oversized leather gloves.
