Four Seasons is launching a luxury cruise line under the leadership of cruise industry veteran Larry Pimentel.

In the year “There will be nothing like this on the high seas,” said Pimentel, who helmed luxury cruise line Azamara from 2009 to 2020, when the Fort Seasons cruises debut in 2025.

Larry Pimentel said they will be four season boats.

Larry Pimentel says Four Season yachts will be “a new category of luxury lifestyle travel.”

“We are creating a new luxury lifestyle journey that appeals to discerning guests. We are bringing together the best in the industry to create Pinckel Yachts’ offering of world-class design, tailored experiences and truly exceptional service,” said Pimentel.

Four Seasons is a partnership with Marc-Henri Cruise Holdings, a company incorporated in Malta and led by entrepreneurs Nadim Ashi and Philippe Levine.

Ashi is the founder of Fort Partners, owner of the Four Seasons Hotel at The Surf Club in Surfside, Fla. Levine is a former two-term mayor of Miami Beach and a real estate and cruise entrepreneur.

Fincantieri will build its first four-season yacht at its yard in Trieste, Italy. The ship order, which includes an option for two additional ships, will amount to $1.16 billion.

14-deck yacht with 95 sets

Four Seasons Yacht’s first 95-suite ship will have 14 decks and will be 679 feet long and 88 feet wide. The ship includes restaurants, lounges and bar concepts that showcase the culinary history of the Four Seasons. The ship will have a full-service spa, salon and wellness program. Four Seasons says there will be a 1-to-1 guest-to-staff ratio.

Each of the 95 suites will cost $4.2 million to build, according to Four Seas Yachts. Each unit will have floor-to-ceiling windows, ceilings 7.9 feet high and spacious terraces. According to the Four Seasons, guests can book adjoining suites to create “ideal villa-like accommodations.”

Suite accommodations start at an average of 581 square feet of indoor-outdoor living space. Sixty percent of the ship’s suites will have more than 818 square feet of indoor-outdoor space, Four Seasons said.

The most spacious residence, the Funnel Suite, features four levels and 9,601 square feet of indoor/outdoor living space, including a private wading pool and private spa area.

The fabric room features a swimming pool that converts into an outdoor movie theater or space for private events. The yacht also offers what Four Seasons Yachts calls an “industry-first crossover marina” for guests to sunbathe, enjoy the water or access “specially designed water recreation toys and accessories.”

Sweden’s Tilburg Design is the lead architect designing the ship’s exterior and guest accommodations. London-based Martin Brudnizky Design Studio designs many guest spaces. The design teams are combined with the creative influence of luxury travel publisher Prosper Assouline.

Four Seasons Cruises plans to cruise the Mediterranean and Caribbean and offers extensions that connect sailings with stays at Four Seasons hotels and resorts.
