ELK CITY, ID – According to the US Forest, hikers along the Magrider Road corridor may experience delays and road closures over the Labor Day weekend.

As of Friday morning, the Magrider Road corridor between Darby, MT and Elk City, ID is open. However, according to the Forest Service, based on critical fire weather predicted for the weekend and the potential for fire growth on the Twist Creek Fire, it is highly likely that fire crews will need to temporarily close the Magerder Road corridor. public safety.
