Fashion Week Minnesota 2022 Announces Fall Season

MINNEAPOLIS, MN, September 03, 2022 –(PR.com)– “Every year I am amazed at the scale of talent and passion we have in this community.” Fashion Week MN is not limited to fashion designers…in fact, we bring together creatives and artists from all industries and serve as an amplifier and incubator for them to grow their businesses. We are an ecosystem dedicated to merging culture and commerce,” said Fashion Week MN CEO Sarah Edwards.

In the year After selling out every show in 2021 and Spring 2022, the dedicated creative team behind Fashion Week MN took time to plan ways for FWMN’s mission to continue advancing Vintage/Thrifting, Sustainability, Ethical and Local Fashion. This season, with over 75 designers applying to FWMN, designers and producers are paired with the idea of ​​collaborating on eight shows over seven days, connecting, inspiring and helping local fashion designers, makers, retailers, artists and creators to grow a thriving fashion community. The community is the foundation of their mission. Fashion Week MN strives to foster a more representative, more equitable fashion ecosystem in the Twin Cities area through an active, engaged, receptive fashion community.

NEW THIS SEASON: For the entire month of September, get to know Fashion Week MN at the Minneapolis Window Display in the Downtown Minneapolis Visitor Center by watching the light rail at 5th St. and Nicollet Mall. Each FWMN event will feature one look on the mannequin during the month. Murals Your Way installs a large mural from the Fall 2022 lookbook.

Fashion Week MN’s management team includes Sarah Edwards, CEO and Co-Founder, Susan Lepke COO and Kim Jurek-Valanzaska as Lead Producer, all with extensive experience and expertise in their respective areas of focus.

The selected producers and designers, with an app pool of over 100 creators, are committed to ensuring the safety of all their event guests (if in person), as well as prioritizing inclusion and accessibility in all their show vectors.
