Elle Fanning Stuns in Sequin Suit at Chanel Cruise Show

Elle Fanning brought party-girl power to the Chanel Cruise 2023–24 runway show last night.

The actor and Chanel ambassador arrived at the entrance of the event held at Paramount Studios in Los Angeles in a glittering all black outfit.

The outfit is made up of a shiny tweed blazer with a graphic white floral print, and ultra-high-waisted trousers completely covered in sequins and topped with a silk tie. She layered her blazer over a chic black and silver top with a single button, and a bra underneath.

Fanning completed the stunning, monochromatic party look with leather heeled boots and a small embroidered leather Chanel bag with a chain strap. She wore little makeup other than black winged leather, and wore her hair down in straight bangs.

Other Chanel ambassadors supported the French fashion house at the event, including Kristen Stewart, Marion Cotillard and Margot Robbie. Also at the fete were A-listers including Sofia Richie, Paris Hilton and Lil Nas X.

Fanning paid tribute to Chanel creative director Karl Lagerfeld at the Met Gala this year with her accessories. The actress wore an angelic white lace gown by Andreas Kronthaler for Vivienne Westwood with a crown of love flowers tied on her head with a black ribbon and a cropped black jacket. The look she wore in her first photo shoot with Lagerfeld, when she was a teenager.

“A memory that stands out is when he took a picture of me in his book ‘Little Black Jacket’. I was 13,” Fanning wrote on Instagram, explaining the meaningful ensemble. “Everybody in the picture was wearing the same black Chanel jacket, and even though we were all wearing the same thing, Karl let our individual styles and personalities inform how the jacket should be worn. For my portrait, he decided to put a daisy crown on my head and wear the jacket over a white dress that I had access to.”
