Maximus Foundation Announces More Than $2 Million in Grants to Nonprofits Nationwide – Grants awarded to 167 nonprofits focused on community development, youth programs and health care

Vermont Business Magazine Maximus (NYSE: MMS), a worldwide provider of government services and a leading employer and supplier, today announced that the Maximus Foundation will provide more than $2 million in funding to 167 nonprofit organizations across the United States this year. 2022: Community Development, Youth Development and Health Care Services. This marks an increase from 2021, when the foundation awarded nearly $1.2 million in funding to 154 nonprofit organizations and the highest level of giving in the foundation’s 22-year history. Vermont was awarded a total of $20,000 in grants.

Established in 2000 by the company’s board of directors, the Maximus Foundation is committed to supporting organizations and programs that promote personal growth and self-sufficiency through improved health, child and family development, and community development.

This year’s grants include nearly $400,000 to 34 different nonprofits focused on homelessness prevention and support, and more than $300,000 to 25 nonprofits fighting child abuse or child hunger.
