In the year When the pandemic began in March 2020, Richman temporarily moved from her NYC apartment to her childhood home in Greenwich, CT, where she learned how to code and created her e-com website, coopandspreevip.com. With her Elizabeth Street store in NYC closed due to the pandemic, she had all her suppliers ship her orders to her home in the city. New merchandise, various designers you already know and many you’ve never met. She decided to start interviewing influencers and absolutely loved it. And so did her audience. It turned into a weekly tradition and the rest, as they say, is history. These weekly IG TV “interviews” not only created much-needed connection during an unprecedented time of isolation, but also gave Richman and coop & spree a new way to engage with customers and suppliers.
coop convos has a similar format to Richman’s IG Life, where Richman focuses on each guest’s career path and personal story, in a relaxed manner that feels less like an interview and more like two old friends. While the main purpose of the podcast is to provide useful and informative insights and resources specifically for those interested in entrepreneurship, retail and wellness, Richman also promises to be filled with lightheartedness and just the right amount of laughs.
