Ciara brought bright colors to the red carpet to celebrate her brand, Ten to One Rum, on August 19 in Los Angeles. The event was held in partnership with Pronghorn, an organization that supports black-owned businesses in the spirits industry.

The Grammy-winning musician opted for lime green shorts and a matching blazer from her LITA clothing line, Ciara. Emphasizing the two-piece ensemble itself, she opted for a blouse underneath. Ciara is an investor, co-owner and director of Ten To One Rum.

Ciara coordinated the outfit with bright pink platform sandals and accessorized with layered bangles, a necklace and two rings on both arms. She parted her hair in the middle and went for flowing curls that framed her face. For beauty, she opted for a natural look that included nude lips and subtle eye shadow.

Launched in August last year by Ciara, LITA stands for “Love is the Answer”. The singer took inspiration for the line from vintage pieces in her closet, which she describes as tomboy-chic. Another of Ciara’s fashion ventures is Human Nation, a gender-neutral clothing line created in collaboration with her husband, NFL quarterback Russell Wilson.

Human Nation, LITA and Russell Wilson’s swimwear brand Good Man were founded under the couple’s fashion company, The House of LR&C. The acronym stands for “Love, Respect and Care”. Three percent of net proceeds from LR&C House go to the Why You Foundation, the couple’s nonprofit organization for children’s health and education. In July, the duo opened the first retail store for LR&C House in Seattle.
