Based in Menomonee Falls TerraSol CBD He plans to open a store in Milwaukee’s historic Third Ward, his second location.

Hemp Dispensary is located at 240 N. Milwaukee St. It is planned, according to a recent application for a business improvement permit with the city. It is intended to serve as the centerpiece of the business, said co-owner Keefe Olig.

“We’re trying to make a statement,” Olig said. We’re spending a lot of time and money to make this a unique place in the Third Ward. We love the area.”

Alongside business partner Mike Sickler, Olig opened the first and currently only TerraSol CBD store in 2018, at N88 W15517 Main Street in Menomonee Falls. Therasol CBD-infused hemp products are sourced from farms in Wisconsin and Colorado and include edibles, salves, vape cartridges, flower and more.

“We have people from Illinois who buy from us,” Olig said. We’re looking forward to full legalization (cannabis in Wisconsin) one day, but until then, we’re enjoying the fact that we don’t have to deal with the issues that other states have to deal with, like cannabis, on how much they can. Buy and pay more taxes”

Based in Milwaukee Dan Beyer Architects Olig said they are on board to completely design the Third Ward space, including custom cabinets and lighting. With a budget of about $420,000, construction is slated to begin in early March once permits are approved by the city.

“If there’s one thing I’ve learned, it’s that the unexpected always adds to the cost,” says Olig. But all the plans are in place, and we’re just waiting to get started.

Olig anticipates an official opening for the Third Ward location in May with 6-10 employees.

“Like any business, there are good and bad. “It’s been a challenging but exciting endeavor, and we’re enjoying the ride.”
