Being away from home doesn’t mean your beauty career takes a break. In this episode of ITK: Out of the Bag, travel expert Francesca Murray (@onegrloneworld) shows us how to take the hassle out of travel when it comes to your skincare routine.
“Thankfully, most brands these days offer travel-sized skincare products to help you maintain healthy skin on the go,” says Francesca.
The first product in Francesca’s vacation skincare routine is the Dermalogica Mini Special Cleansing Gel. She says it’s great for rejuvenating your skin after a long day of travel. The compact size is perfect for a hotel bathroom, airport or airplane. As an added bonus, the Dermalogica Cleansing Gel doubles as a makeup remover.
Next, Francesca recommends Estee Lauder’s Mini Advanced Night Repair Serum. It’s a portable product that boosts your night time by smoothing and hydrating your skin. Similarly, she says the Biosans Mini Squalane + Omega Repair Deep Hydration Moisturizer is perfect for skin after a long commute. “The squalane and omega ingredients help your skin get rid of fine lines and wrinkles from fatigue,” explains Francesca.
If you’re looking for something easy to apply on the go, try Tatcha Luminous Dewy Skin Mist. Francesca says she sprays this facial mist on to easily refresh while on the go. She recommends it especially for airplane trips to dry your skin.
Finally, Francesca shares an essential skin care step she enjoys whether she’s heading to the tropics or staying in – Supergoop! Mini Invisible Sunscreen SPF 40 PA+++. It provides invisible protection from the sun’s harmful rays and can be worn with makeup.
