Last year was very popular for travelers. From the dreaded summer delays to southwesterly snow cancellations, those on short-haul and long-haul flights have been subjected to a host of travel hassles. Well-stocked luggage and toiletries, portable chargers and on-the-go entertainment are must-haves for airport-bound jet-setters.

“We reality [needed] “To support ourselves with holiday travel – vacations that should be filled with excitement – tells you how wrong the industry is right now, and it’s a tragedy for people who want (and deserve) a vacation,” Ben Kaufman, director of marketing and communications for semi-private airline JSX, tells us. The Hollywood Reporter.

Despite the headlines, more Americans are looking at international travel by 2023, according to CNBC. The re-opening of borders, a drop in Covid screening requirements and flexible remote work schedules have prompted travelers to take overseas flights, particularly to Asia-Pacific countries, CNBC reported.

Kaufman’s top travel tip? “Don’t book a ticket on an airline that makes you want to join for more. Catch up on air freight that brings you joy. Why risk the crowds, lines and hassles of packed airport terminals and cramped planes when you can fly JSX? Private terminals, no layovers, cocktails, business class legroom and peace of mind – these are the benefits of private flying at a much more accessible price tag,” he added.

To complement ski resorts, Kaufman said the company has added routes such as Gunnison/Crested Butte, Rifle/Aspen, and Denver/Boulder (Rocky Mountain Airport). “Since most winter gear flies free of charge, it’s certainly not going to be an easy ride to get to the slopes,” he said.

For those looking to visit warmer climates during the winter months, JSX offers flights to Miami and recently launched service to Cabo San Lucas, Mexico. Hop-On’s public charter jet service will offer free high-speed Starlink Wi-Fi on all 30-seat Embraer aircraft by the end of March.

Air travel trends are also emerging in 2023. Experts predict that airline prices will decrease and seat capacity will increase, and flight cancellations will decrease.

Whether you’re thinking of taking a wellness retreat or planning spring and summer adventures, we’ve rounded up some of the best airplane travel accessories to make your trip as smooth as possible. Many of our picks travel well on road trips—keep reading for the essentials for your next flight.

One tip from Kaufman? Don’t forget to make sure you have all your charging cables and international adapters if needed.
