Not only did the Paris Fashion Week Fall/Winter 2023 menswear shows have more representation from South Korea, but the stars also helped to provide continued evidence of the country’s importance in luxury fashion.

In the year Opening PFW on January 17, 2023, Saint Laurent presented a show featuring sleek coats and oversized shirts in his signature black and white color palette, featuring low cuts and ample skin despite the chilly weather in Paris. The audience was Seventeen’s Jeonghan, L’Oren and Asten of NCT and YV, who all embraced the attitude of the night, the former two dressed in a beautiful coat, TEN exposed his chest to the midsection with a V-cut.

BiGBANG returned to Paris after last attending a show for the fashion house in 2014 after being named Givenchy’s new ambassador. Givenchy creative director Matthew M. Sweaters and acid-washed jeans were all perfectly lined up on January 18th.

BTS’ Jimin took his new role as Dior global ambassador seriously in a crisp gray dress, while his bandmate J-Hope wore a dark-grey dress-pant combo. Both echo beautifully the theme of elevated classics that Dior Men’s Artistic Director Kim Jones brought to the runway on January 20.

Elsewhere in the City of Love, KARD’s BM looked like he could be at Kenzo’s colorful show on January 20 with his boat, scarf and hat combo. Meanwhile, Louis Vuitton global ambassador Jackson Wang left his mark on a rare Vuitton show that included a mysterious stretch jacket and J-Hope’s colorful camo on Jan. 19, featuring a performance from Rosalia.
