Bar Harbor Bank employees donate nearly $12,000 to six nonprofits

Vermont Business Magazine Bar Harbor Bank & Trust employees presented nearly $12,000 in gifts to six nonprofit organizations in Maine, New Hampshire and Vermont from the bank’s employee-led philanthropy program, Casual for A Cause. Recipients of donations, all collected in Q2 2022, are: Hancock County Hospice Volunteers, Island Health and Wellness Foundation, People’s Place and Trekkers (Maine). VNA and Hospice of Sunapee Region (New Hampshire); and Attitude Change (Vermont).

In exchange for a bi-weekly payroll deduction for a quarterly pool of money, bankers who participate in Cause for Cause will dress naked on Fridays.
