CHARLOTTE — Charlotte-based Atrium Health has partnered with Best Buy Co. Inc. in an effort to enhance patient care through its hospital-at-home program.
That program launched in 2020 as a way to address a surge in patients during the height of the pandemic. Dr. Rasu Shrestha, chief innovation and commercialization officer at Advocate Health, said the partnership with Best Buy Health takes advantage of Atrium’s position as a leader in telemedicine and a patient population of nearly 3 million people, as well as BBH’s expertise in the omnichannel, supply chain, in-home support and “Caring Center” support and services.
