Assistant Secretary Medina Trip to Cape Canaveral and Stockholm

Monica Medina, Assistant Secretary for Oceans and Global Environment and Scientific Affairs, will travel to the Kennedy Space Center in Cape Canaveral, Florida, on August 29 for the launch of NASA’s planned Artemis 1 and to meet with representatives of other signatories to the Artemis Treaty.

Next, Assistant Secretary Medina will travel to Stockholm, Sweden, from August 30 to September 1, to participate in World Water Week in support of the White House Action Plan on Global Water Security. During her stay in Stockholm, the United States will meet with partners and stakeholders to strengthen its commitment to multilateral cooperation on global water issues.
