As Distad leaves the company, Apple will promote Jim DeLorenzo to sports content and look for a replacement to oversee the TV business.
Distad was originally hired in 2013 and was Hulu’s senior vice president of marketing and distribution before joining Apple. Distad is the third services executive to leave the company in recent months, and the departure follows Peter Stern, business head of services, and Michael Abbott, head of cloud services.
