Looking to get a little more performance out of the Arctos mountain bike platform, Alchemy bumped the rear travel by 5mm on its two most popular models.
Now with 125mm and 140mm travel, the front travel is the same, with 130mm and 150mm forks. To add more travel, they tweaked the linkage a bit, leaving everything else the same… shock stroke and length transferred. Flip Chip also remains, allowing you to adjust the Geo.
This modularity means anyone can swap in new parts or change the ride by changing the linkage and shocks (shocks vary between different travel options). There’s even a full kit to set the bike up for a 27.5-inch rear wheel.
Joining the new ride options are two new colorways: Pine Green/Solar Gold and Camel/Black.
The 125 and 140 share the same frame as the 150mm Arctos, which remains unchanged in the lineup. All three Touring models are available with the new colors and are available for pre-order now, shipping in May 2023.
