Renowned author, ethicist and activist Richard Lapchick will be coming to Pacific University’s Forest Grove campus to discuss “The Power of Business and Sports to Create Positive Social Change” in a free public lecture on Tuesday, September 13 at 6 p.m. Use sports and business tools to create opportunities for social justice.
Lapchick is the founder of the Center for the Study of Sports in the Community at Northeastern University, the founder of the Violence Prevention Program, and the founder of the National Academic and Sports Consortium, an anti-trafficking organization known as NOW. Lapchick will speak at the Taylor-Meade Performing Arts Center near the corner of Pacific Avenue and Cedar Street.
