– Kelly Burns has joined Seattle-based healthcare company Accolade as its new chief information security officer.

Burns came from Bellevue, Wash.-based financial services company Symmetra, where she held a similar role.

Burns previously worked as a cybersecurity consultant for Ernst & Young.

She leads the information security business unit at Accolade, a health benefits platform that launched in 2020. Burns also supports the company’s overall compliance and risk management function.
