Independent bookstores store the driving force behind the annual store environmental campaign

Vermont Business Magazine This July, Phoenix Books Walden is hosting an exciting month-long scavenger hunt for local businesses. This widespread scavenger hunt is a wonderful way to engage the community by highlighting the uniqueness of our environment, promoting our “shop environment” message, and developing a common community at Essex and Essex, VT. Prizes for the players will be held throughout the month, and Phoenix Books Essex will celebrate the Waldo weekend on July 30 and 31!
What is Waldo Local Search? For ten years, the children’s book character Waldo has been visiting local communities as part of his annual campaign in a red and white-embroidered shirt and black glasses. A month-long Waldo scam, hosted by more than 250 independent bookstores across the United States. Participating bookstores win the message of the “shop environment” by entertaining the downtown area with community-based activities.

Search Waldo Location How does it work? A.D. July 8, 2022 Waldo-Spotters set out to find an unknown character hidden in dozens of businesses at Essex and Essex intersection, Vermont. Participants will receive a Find Waldo stamp card at Phoenix Books Essex Waldo Headquarters and collect a store stamp or signature for each Waldo.
