Gallatin County health officials are warning residents of ice cream that might be contaminated.

The health department says they were made aware of ice cream that was given away at Venture Church on Thursday.

They say the ice cream was involved in a truck wreck, and the health department did not inspect or approve it for public consumption before it was given away.

Officials worry it could be contaminated. They recommend anyone who picked up ice cream at the church to throw it away.

Local officials and the Montana Department of Public Health and Human Services are investigating.
