‘Around the World in 80 Days’: Two best friends travel to 18 countries on seven continents at the age of 81.

Eli Hamby, an international documentary filmmaker, and Sandy Hazlip, a doctor who now cares for patients in long-term care facilities, have been friends for 23 years. After 80 days of touring the world’s continents, the duo returned home in Texas.

The two have spent years preparing for the trip, although they have traveled together many times before. They finally took off in January of this year and headed to Antarctica for the first time.

The duo visited 18 countries on seven continents during their trip. They have traveled to Australia, Indonesia, Japan, Nepal, Finland, Argentina and India, among others.
