QUEENSBURY, NY – A local, family-owned Adirondack winery is celebrating 15 years of success and growth with several upcoming events.

This April 17th will mark 15 years since founders and co-owners Sasha and Michael Pardee first opened Adirondack Winery in Lake George.

To celebrate this milestone, the business invites clients and friends to Adirondack Wines’ new tasting room in Queensbury and the original tasting room in Lake George from April 13-23 featuring Savage Dueling Pianos, Comedy at The Winery, a celebratory chocolate launch party, Adirondack themed paint and sip, boogie. Brunch and Boozy Zumba, wine-infused fondue for an experience for two, extra mile pizza and live music, acoustic brunch and a special Lake George tasting room event.

“We are overwhelmed by the amount of support our customers, friends, family and community have shown us over the 15 years we have been in business,” said Sasha, president of Adirondack Winery in a press release. “It’s disturbing to see where we started and where we are today.”

In the year In 2008, Adirondack Wines was one of the first micro-wineries in the country, with a storefront on Canada Street across from Shepard Park, Mike Vines worked behind the scenes and sold wine. Fronted by his wife Sasha and a few part-timers. The winery sold 1,000 cases in its first year, including wines from other New York wineries. Now, 15 years later, the winery has jumped to producing 20,000 cases a year of more than 35 different varieties. The wine is sold in more than 500 stores and restaurants throughout New York and can be shipped to customers in 35 states.

In the year In 2022, the winery opened a new $2.6 million, 14,100-square-foot winemaking facility and tasting room at its Queensbury headquarters at 395 Big Bay Road. The new building will provide the space needed to triple the size of the winery over the next 10 years. Featuring a completely new tasting room, the winery now offers new services that customers have long wanted, such as winery tours, wine by the glass, cocktails, local beers and spirits, outdoor seating and light dining. The winery offers fun events and classes such as Uncork and Crafts, pairing events, trivia, live music and more. Upstairs is a private event space that can be rented for events such as bachelorette parties, bridal showers, birthday parties, small weddings, corporate and non-profit events.

By building a new flagship location, Adirondack Winery is committed to continuously improving its sustainability efforts. Adirondack Winery installed 80 kW to power the new winery and tasting room. “In addition to our efforts to reduce greenhouse gases, we have improved our sustainability by using lightweight bottles, using natural corks, compostable cups and straws, reducing and reusing packaging, working to increase our in-house recycling programs, improving energy efficiency. “We use our ingredients and local food sources and suppliers,” Mike said in the release.Visitors to the Queensbury area can view the amount of solar energy produced, historical energy output, CO2 emissions and similar trees planted on any given day through a screen display at the winery.

The main tasting room in Lake George remains a top attraction in the region at its prime location on Canada Street. “This summer we plan to have a sidewalk cafe in front of the Lake George tasting room, with our famous wine slushies and wines by the glass, which we know our customers will enjoy, and we have big Lake George plans for the future,” Sasha said in the release. Since opening the winery, the Pardis are determined to make a positive impact on their industry and the local community. “Part of our company values ​​is supporting local. We do this by serving and selling locally made products, donating our wine to charity, photographing this beautiful area for visitors to our region, organizing events to bring people into town and more,” said Sasha. Released. Over the past 10 years, Adirondack Winery has raised more than $100,000 in the annual “Drink Pink” campaign for breast cancer in the Adirondacks. By 2022, it has raised $25,000 to become the top fundraising company in the Northeast!
