Travel-friendly products for winter trips

[ad_1]

Summer travel season is coming (Wasn’t it Christmas yet??) and it’s time to start thinking about what to pack. To keep things simple, I’ve rounded up a few of my favorite things that I plan to take with me on my next trip, more like home or simple fun.

Where to buy: HelloLookShop.com
Price: $45
Lookstand is the smallest phone stand I’ve ever come across. It fits in my front pocket (and my jeans are tailored for the female form, so that should tell you something about the size there) and is sturdy enough to hold my phone. The height of the display ranges from 3.5 inches to 7 inches and it has 120 degree tilt and 360 degree rotation. Not bad for something that weighs less than 2 ounces. Use as a phone stand, selfie stick, phone holder or tripod on the go.

SideTrak display

Where to buy: Amazon and SideTrak
Price: $
SideTrak portable monitors are the perfect size for travel. Sizes range from 12.5 inches to 15.6 inches, there’s a size for any traveler. I prefer the 12.5-inch rotary controller because it’s easier to attach my MacBook Pro 13-inch. I carry a 13 inch laptop sleeve to keep it safe while on the road.

You can use the small metal plate to attach it to your laptop, or you can use the dock to keep it sitting by your side. I have commitment issues when putting adhesive on expensive items. (Don’t get me started on the laptop stickers!) But I have an incase shell on my laptop and that calms me down when I use the metal plate.

The patented folding hinge makes it easy to adjust to my liking, and at just 1.2 pounds, it doesn’t weigh me down.

Bonus feature! It works with most devices and operating systems, including Mac, PC, Chrome, PS4, Xbox and Switch. A connection cable requires access to a Thunderbolt or USB-C port. If you have a separate port on your device, a two-wire connection (using USB-A and HDMI) is required.

MindLax: Meditation/Sleep Mat

Where to buy: MindLax
Price: 200 dollars
MindLax is taking sleep and relaxation to the next level. Backed by science, the MindLax mat uses sleep-enhancing sounds and vibrations to lull you out of reality and into a state of sleep, helping to lull your body and mind into a state of deep relaxation. With the included travel case, you can easily fold it up and take it anywhere for sleeping, no matter the location. The built-in battery will keep you going all night on a single charge.

MindLax connects to an app that lets you choose if you’re trying to relax or fall asleep. The application is extremely easy to use and does not allow you to rush through the various levels, asking you to complete a certain amount of time before making each level difficult.

Use it at bedtime for a good night’s rest, take a quick power nap on the couch, or meditate anywhere with MindLax.

My experience using it was pleasant. The vibe and sound took some getting used to, but it was fun.

Go phone soap

Where to buy: PhoneSoap Go website
Price: $149.95
PhoneSoap Go lets you disinfect and charge your phone at the same time while you’re out. UV-C light technology kills 99.99% of bacteria on your device in minutes. Comes with a handy travel case to keep it safe in your suitcase or day bag. You can block the germs from your device 45 times before needing to charge. Each cleaning cycle lasts only 10 minutes.

Merach Mini Massage Gun M1S

Where to buy: Amazon
Price: Retail $89.99, currently on sale for $49.99

The Merak Mini Massage Gun M1S is my favorite for travel. It weighs only 0.85 pounds and is small enough to fit in your hand. Unlike other massage guns I’ve used, the Merak Mini Massage Gun M1S is quieter and operates at less than 40 dB (similar to a quiet library).

It has a vibration rate of 1500-3500 times per minute and penetrates the muscle group to a depth of 7.5 mm.

It comes with four high-quality silicone accessories that are environmentally friendly, making it suitable for different parts of the body, from feet to face. In the box you will find the massage gun, carrying case, four massage heads, USB Type C charging cable and instructions. They offer a 30-day money-back guarantee as well as a 1-year warranty and lifetime support.

RiotPWR Mobile Cloud Game Controller

Where to buy: Amazon
Price: $69.99
I enjoy playing games, but when it comes to working the controls on my phone, I prefer reading a book instead. The RiotPWR Mobile Cloud Game Controller lets me use a standard controller to play my favorite games on my iPhone or iPad. With USB-C and Lightning capability, you don’t have to change your controller if Apple changes the charging port. My favorite feature is that it doesn’t work over Bluetooth, which means my games won’t lag when trying to run wirelessly. A bonus feature of this controller is that it charges my device while I play. No worries about playing games and the controller draining my battery. It costs me.

iLive Sleep Headphones Mask

Where to buy: Amazon
Price: $29.99
Headphones and eye masks and Bluetooth capability equals a restful night’s sleep. The controls are easy enough to reach and work with Siri and Google Assistant. At 50% volume you get about 10 hours of play time. When it’s time to wash them, you can unplug the electronics and throw them in with the rest of the laundry.

The iLive Sleep Headphones Mask comes with its own case to keep them safe in your hand or regular luggage.
