He then feeds that information into cutting machines equipped with Ronbow software, which guides the entire production process.

The benefits of data-driven manufacturing are clear. According to Chen, Ronbow can deliver products in three to six weeks, reducing turnaround time by 90 percent and cutting costs by 40 percent compared to traditional, manual manufacturing.

Ronbow is projecting more than $10 million in revenue this year and plans to open 10 showrooms. The majority of its user base of nearly 1,000 customers are located in California, ranging from middle-class homeowners, professionals such as real estate agents and designers, as well as commercial customers such as hotels and developers. It aims to operate 30 showrooms by 2024, expecting to see annual revenue of $50 million to $60 million.
