She will return to San Diego Comic-Con in 2023.

Her Universe Fashion Show is returning to the 2023 San Diego Comic-Con. Once again hosted by Ashley Eckstein, Founder of Universe. Her Universe Fashion Show showcases the fashions of 20-25 pre-selected amateur designers. They showcase their gracious couture designs anywhere from The Walt Disney Company. Two winners will be chosen at the end of the event. One is chosen by expert judges and the other by the audience. Winners will be given the opportunity to design a fashion collection for a hot topic from Her Universe in celebration of DC’s 100th anniversary!

How to enter the 2023 Her Universe Fashion Show

1. Submissions will be accepted from March 20, 2023 to April 28, 2023.

2. Submissions must be “geek couture” fashion, not costume, and must be based on anything celebrated within the Walt Disney Company family of properties: Disney

National Geographic

3. One submission form / entry per person. You may include up to three designs on your submission form, but only one, if any, may be selected. Your design must be your original work and qualify within a predefined Walt DC Company property family.

4. Submission designs can be fashion for women, men or unisex.

5. Entries must be received by 4/28/23 11:59 PM PST. Late entries will not be considered. All submissions are final.

6. Finalists will be notified individually by email on 5/12/23.

7. All finalists must provide their own styling, makeup, hair design and modeling at their own expense.

8. All finalists must provide their own travel to and from their location and lodging in San Diego. Her Universe is not responsible for any travel or accommodation expenses.

9. All finalists must attend a mandatory dress rehearsal on July 19, 2023 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego, California.

10. All finalists must attend the Her Universe Fashion Show on July 20, 2023 at the Grand Hyatt Hotel in San Diego, California.
