When Dave Hoff started Aspen Rent-Allen in 1967 in the suburbs of the town market, he worked hard, but he was not ashamed to hang a sign that was closed from noon to 2 p.m.
“Many businesses will close from 12 to 2,” he said. “I would go upstairs and run to the doors behind Gretel (now Bonnie).”
Hoff He was 28 years old in 1967 and was struggling to sell his equipment on the road to Bombardier. He wanted to stay calm and spend time with his young family in Aspen. He learned about the growing market in rental housing – do it all yourself – the little kids you need during upgrades, from rolling beds to upgrade beds.
Hoff set up his business alongside the steak pit in the basement of the City Market Building. It was not a big place for the line of work as every rental item had to be dragged up and down the stairs.

“I had a strong back and a weak mind,” says Hoff.
A few years later, he moved to a new location in the capital, then to the Aspen Business Center in the early 1970s. Success requires big sites.
“I knew it was going to increase. I didn’t know which direction it would go,” he said.

The 2-acre area with several workshops, garages and orchards will allow the growth to continue. Hoff Blackmer has invested $ 1.5 million. There are 450 items – from medium-sized drills to carpet cleaners, electric fence cutters to tractors, up to ፓ 5,000 to tow trucks.

Eighty-five percent of the business comes from people in the construction business and landscaping. Homeowners take care of the rest of the do-it-yourself projects and backyard work. Hoff Blackmer predicts that the back of the business will grow more vulnerable.
Hoff Blackmer is the president of Aspen Rent-All and has 10 employees to help him run it. Zach Fisher is the customer relations manager and Justin Gish is the operations manager – both of which are important for operation.
With a fast-paced, ever-changing aspen, it’s not easy to stay in business for 55 years. Staying in a family is far more rare.
A.D. Graduating from Aspen High School in 1981, she was suddenly knocking on the door in 1999, selling clothes and spending a lot of time on the street. Dave Hoff, a longtime business manager, was forced to leave due to health problems. Dave thought of him as a successor in the business. When the medical issue arose, Dave was ready to list the business in the market.
But on one of her regular bicycle trips for family and friends in Europe, Dave persuaded her two family friends and business owners to buy the base business and keep it with her family. They grabbed her by the scruff of the neck and made her voice heard.
“I was sleep deprived and I woke up and told him I wanted to buy it the next day,” she said.
A.D. She began business on August 1, 1999 and bought on January 1, 2000. After staying at ABC since the early 1970s, Bath decided in 2014 to take on Aspen Kirai-al-Downlili.
“I was afraid that leaving Spain would be a challenge,” she says.
Instead, it was for economic gain. All of the contractors will go up in the morning and drive to Aspen Rent-Al Shop on Highway 82. The staff has adjusted the opening time to 6 30 30 to accommodate.
“The redevelopment, the reconstruction (market) is our bread and butter,” said Hoff Blackmer.
Many companies do not own the equipment needed for demolition projects. Do It Yourself: The Garbage Valley has grown since its inception, with many homeowners experimenting with projects on their own. Hoff Blackmer said her staff are good at communicating with customers. They advise staff to find out what they are doing and what to hire to do it. They help with the guide and make videos available for a variety of tasks.
Hoff Blackmer will continue the industry trend through her three-year presidency and address to 3,000 people.
Aspen Rent-All is working with a client-friendly party in August to plan the year.
Not surprisingly, Dave is proud that his business is booming.
“I knew we were going to make a profit because it’s a business that benefits the community,” he said.
