The most watched HBO series since Game of ThronesUS teen drama Euphoria revolves around topics like drugs, trauma, sex, gender identity, family, friendship and social media. Starring Zendaya as troubled teenager Rue who struggles with drug addiction and her on-and-off relationship with transgender girl Jules (played by Hunter Schafer), the series is praised not only for its relatable story lines, but also for its melodramatic cinematography, music , fashion and makeup. Not surprisingly, Euphoria has a huge Gen Z following, particularly for the cast’s beauty looks.

In May, Euphoria‘s makeup designer Doniella Davy will launch her own makeup brand Half Magic Beauty. While waiting for its official debut, let’s take a look at 15 of Season Two’s most iconic eye makeup looks!

1. Maddy’s Exaggerated Liner

In a lot of scenes, Maddy (Alexa Demie) wears black eyeliner that is extended outwards and sometimes inwards. The dramatic eye shape created from the liner is often contrasted with sparkly cream colors for the eyelid to add theatrical vibes. Her reverse cat-eye with clumpy lower lashes for New Year’s Eve is phenomenal, especially when coupled with the black bodycon cutout dress.

2. Maddy’s Double Wings

Maddy pulls off her signature sharp and slender double wings in a bathroom scene. Cassie (Sydney Sweeney) also wears double wings, but hers are much rounder and melted in contrast to Maddy’s sharper look. The show’s makeup artists used Inglot pot gel liner, Bdellium eyeliner brush and pointy Q-tips, but amateurs can use a liquid eyeliner to emulate the liner looks. The results won’t be as strong but it’ll be easier to control the liner when drawing those wings.

3. Cassie’s Rhinestone Wing

Arguably the most iconic makeup look from this season, Cassie’s rhinestone wing on NYE can be achieved by using Get Stonned tiny gemstones, an eyelash glue and applicator. The rhinestone wing is accompanied by eye shadow in soft pinks and shimmery highlight at the inner corner of eyes, making this look rather minimal compared to Maddy’s dramatic rhinestone wing during a flashback scene at Lexi (Maude Apatow) ‘s play.

4. Cassie’s Baby Blue Wing

Cassie’s baby blue wing is undoubtedly another Caddy (Cassie x Maddy) look that’ll soon lead a beauty trend. It’s possibly built upon one of Maddy’s cheerleader looks from Season One. Before she confronts Maddy, Cassie’s baby blue wing is well defined against peachy eye shadow. After the confrontation, Cassie’s baby blue wing is blended into the peachy eye shadow and looks more glittery, while her lower lash line is smudged to look sweaty.

5. Cassie’s White Winged Liner

White liner is one of Donni Davy’s go-to tricks to make the eyes pop. Davy told her followers on IG that she initially wanted to use baby blue but realized that white was more jarring, and the look matched Cassie’s desire to catch the attention of Nate (Jacob Elordi). Note that Maddy also puts on white liner for her farewell with mentor Samantha (Minka Kelly).

6. Jules’s Dark Inner Corner Liner

In a special episode on Jules before Season Two, we learn that Jules is thinking of quitting her hormone replacement therapy. Jules’s evolving relationship with femininity is shown in her shorter hair and less feminine makeup in Season Two. Oozing punk rock vibes, her double-pointed liner in the inner corners for NYE is inspired by a mermaid’s purse (the dark pointed shell encasing shark eggs), as Davy explained on Instagram.

7. Jules’s Messy Eye Shadow

Jules is an aspiring fashion designer and her creative makeup ideas reflect that. Though subtle, Jules pulls off a messy eye shadow at least twice: one in green and one in blue. The painterly strokes and patches look more like an abstract painting than makeup.

8. Jules’s Triple Wings

Jules accents her eyes with triple wings (or “whiskers” and “horns” according to Davy) at least thrice: once in white at the outer corner of the upper lid, once in white on the outer corner of the lower lid, and once in black at the tip of the eye.

9. Jules’s Mini Accents

Instead of the colorful makeup from Season One, Jules uses mini accents to express herself in Season Two. In a scene where she and Eliot (Dominic Fike) share an intimate conversation, Jules wears a tiny cross above the inner corner of the eye, which mimics Eliot’s eyelid tattoo.

10. Jules’s Graphic Liner

In the Season Two finale, both Jules and Maddy wear green graphic liner but in very different shapes. Jules’s liner is glittery and looks like a hollow blob around the eye, while Maddy flaunts her signature double wings with glittery white eye shadow.

11. Lexi’s Pronged Liner

Davy has said that Lexi’s makeup for this season is “daring and timid.” Her pronged liner look reflects this duality with its stark shape and muted colors. In another scene where Lexi is the prima donna of her own play, we see a glam version of the pronged liner look, but only at a glimpse.

12. Lexi’s Beaded Lower Lash Line

A flashback during Lexi’s play shows Maddy lining Lexi’s lips. Here, Lexi has long blue winged eyeliner and a beaded lower lash line similar to Cassie’s makeup at Maddy’s birthday. Their “glitter tears” eye makeup looks almost foreshadow the tragic scenes to come.

13. Kat’s Minty Eye Shadow

Kat (Barbie Ferreira) is less prominent in Season Two, but her makeup is nonetheless impressive. Her looks tend to be less complicated than the other girls’ looks, and hence easier to achieve. During her breakup with Ethan (Austin Abrams), she dons mint green eye shadow with a subtle touch of chartreuse at the crease, which is refreshing, bright and easy to recreate.

14. Kat’s Glitzy Baby Blue Liner

Kat and Maddy go matchy-matchy at Maddy’s birthday. While Maddy flaunts glittery chunky cat-eyes with baby blue powder at the inner corners, Kat double lines her lid with black and glittery baby blue liners.

15. Kat’s Plum Cut Crease

After Cassie’s confrontation with Maddy in the Season Two finale, Kat sits with them in the bathroom. She dons a vampy plum cut crease, which is similar to a look worn by Maddy earlier in a bowling scene.
