The stolen Michigan State Police Recruitment Tent – replaced by Traverse City Business earlier this week.
One night two women went to the tent. The unit was filmed by a nearby security camera, and state police said they had previously identified the suspects with the help of the public. But the theft left them without a significant presence in the city center during the Cherry Festival.
TentCraft saw the story on the news – and their team went to work. They handed it over to the state police on Friday near the open space.
“How fast can we do it?” Said Andrew Dodson, TentCraft’s content marketing and public relations manager. We have. And we produced it in one day. Dodson says it was a reasonable idea. “For him, I set up Google alerts for tent-related news. We have seen. It was on all the news this week. So it was like, right away, it was a no-brainer. It took us about five minutes to decide if we could help our local police post here and we could bring them a new tent. 
“You know the community supports you, but seeing things like that makes your job much better,” says Michigan State Police Chief Taylor Jukanovich. They need to know that the community is here, they will watch the news. Going from that company to such an effort ነው It’s amazing.
