A TikToker and travel agent has gone viral after claiming one of her clients accused her of “hierarchy” in an out-of-office email.
The video features creator Sid (@stillpoorandhungry) talking about the event to her 33,600 followers.
Syd said the client’s out-of-office email was one of the “funnest” emails she’s ever received. Tiki Talker explained that her email listed what she was doing when she wasn’t out, along with photos that deviated from the standard email requirements (when she would be back at the office and who she would meet in the meantime).
“What was humiliating, you ask?” Sid says. “It wasn’t just hey, thanks for the message. Here is the date and time of my return. Here is a man. thank you.’ I put down what I do. “
According to the TikToker, the woman “found him low because he was rubbing it in the face of anyone who wasn’t on vacation.” Further, Sid accused the client of calling her “low class” even though he had planned the woman’s vacation to Paris.
“It was even wilder because it was a template that everyone in the company used,” the travel agent said in a statement.

The video has been viewed more than 118,000 times as of Sunday. A debate ensued in the comments, with many taking jabs at Sid.
One user thought this was a smart move, especially considering she worked at a travel agency. “I feel like that’s just smart marketing for a travel agent?” they said. “Like, ‘Look how much fun I’m having, your next trip could be here!'”
“People are SOOOO creative with what they come up with to complain about it’s amazing,” added another.
Other users shared their experiences of meeting people like the woman.
Someone told me my outgoing message recording was bad because I said, “I’ll call you back at my convenience.”
“Someone called my sister’s classmate once because she posted swimming photos on her day off,” wrote another.
Others disagreed, accusing Sid of being a “pretender.”
“She had a point,” commented one.
Another TikToker argued that it is appropriate for internal emails, but not external communications. Sometimes I have internal OOO responses to things I do (eg visiting family, on vacation) but not external ones. “I feel like these are the best.”
Daily Dot reached out to Syed via email and TikTok for comment.
