‘Inquisitive Traveller’ was launched by a team of experienced travel and holiday architects to leverage each brand’s strengths, leverage their combined expertise and share best practices and resources. Inquisitive Travel enables tour operators to collaborate on issues of mutual interest, including sustainability, and connects in-house resources from technology platforms to training and recruitment.

While not a customer, Inquisitive Traveler will focus on the 50-plus, medium-to-long-haul market. Over time, Inquisitive Traveler will seek investment opportunities to build a team of leading brands that deliver immersive experiences to the inquisitive traveler market while ensuring lasting positive impact on local communities.

Experience Travel Group Managing Director Sam Clarke and Holiday Architects Managing Director Andrew Hunt sit on the board of Inquisitive Travel, chaired by Chad Lion-Cachet. There are no other foreign bodies.

The merger will see Inquisitive Travel employ 40 combined employees and cover more than 30 countries. In the year By the end of 2023, it predicts departures of £16 million. Inquisitive Traveler already has partial B-Corp certification with the intention that all future brands in the group will be B-Corp certified. The Experience Travel Group has AITO membership with Holiday Architects applying to join as soon as possible. Both companies will retain their existing ATOL licences.
