Norman, Okla – Georgia Tech Bartley Forster, Christo Lamprecht And Ross Stillman Srixon/Cleveland Golf was named an NCAA Division 1 All-America Scholar by the American Golf Coaches Association.
A total of 440 NCAA Division I student-athletes from 157 schools have been honored for 2021-22. To be nominated for the Srixon/Cleveland Golf All-America Scholar, an individual must be a sophomore, junior or senior in academics and athletics in NCAA Division I, II, III and NAIA, or their associate’s degree and final year of athletic eligibility in the NJCAA. In addition, they must participate in 50 percent of their team’s tournament rounds, average a stroke average of under 76.0 in NCAA Division I, 78.0 in NCAA Division II, 79.0 in NCAA Division III, 78.0 in the NAIA and under 77.0 in the NJCAA. , and a minimum cumulative grade-point average of 3.2. The recipient must be of high moral character and in good standing at the college or university.
Forrester (Gainesville, Ga., junior/business administration) and Stillman (Columbia, Mo./junior/history, technology and society) were each honored for the second time, while Lamprecht (George, South Africa/sophomore/business administration) qualified the list in his first year.
Forrester and Lamprecht were also named to the Atlantic Coast Conference All-Academic Golf Team earlier in the spring and both were named to the All-ACC Golf Team for their performances on the course in 2021-22. They also earned All-America honors in the GCAA, and Stillman made the organization’s All-East Region team.
Lamprecht finished the spring ranked 27th nationally in both polls. Forrester finished No. 69 and No. 81 in the Golfweek/Sagarin Index, while Stillman was No. 141 and No. 114, respectively. Lamprecht and Stillman each had six top-10 finishes for the Yellow Jackets in 2021-22, while Forrester had four, including a victory at the Khalsa Cup.
