Three divers qualified for the 2023 NCAA Championships – the Georgia Tech Yellow Jackets

Plates – After several days of competition at the NCAA Zone B Diving Championships, three Jackets have clinched their spots to compete at the upcoming NCAA Swimming and Diving Championships. This is the most Tech divers to qualify for national meets starting in the 2021 season.

Anna Bradescu The tech team is ready to join his friend Denise ErtanAt the women’s championships, which begin Wednesday, March 15 in Knoxville, Tenn., Bradescu scored a 573.20 to take third place overall in the women’s podium. This is the junior’s third appearance at the national meet.

Reuben salad And Ilya Clear He joins three Tech swimmers in the men’s championships. The men’s championships will be held from Wednesday March 22nd to Saturday March 25th in Minneapolis, Minnesota.

Lechuga was the first diver to qualify for NCAAs with a seventh-place time of 692.60 in the men’s 1-meter event. The senior record holder has now qualified for the NCAA Championships twice while in the flat.

In the first Zone B Championship, Kleer showed an impressive performance in the men’s arena. The freshman placed seventh in the competition with a total score of 703.55.
