Here’s what happened last week and what’s to come!

Apex: Legends

The Huskies Apex were ranked third in the Octane College Team Rankings in week four last Saturday. A repeat podium finish would improve Tech’s chances of making the playoffs.

This Saturday, Tech returns to the fifth and final group stages.

Counter Strike: International Offensive

Tech is seeded second in the tournament and bye bye to the first round of the tournament. The Huskies will face the winner of RIT White and Kennesaw State on Saturday. If they win, they have a 4th round game on Sunday. If the Huskies can win Sunday, they’ll punch a ticket to the national finals on April 30 in Indianapolis.

Rocket League

The B team will face RIT in round four on April 10 in the conference championship game. The last time these two teams met, the JV team fell, so the Huskies have their work cut out for them.

The varsity squad will face Brewton-Parker College in the round of 16 of the NACE Varsity Premier National Championship. If they win, their next match will be in Round 8 on Saturday. After that, it’s Sunday’s round of four to decide who heads to Indianapolis for the April 29 finals.

On Saturday, Tech took second in the Great Lakes Collegiate Rocket League LAN Championship at Cleary University. The Huskies started the day seemingly unstoppable, beating Michigan-Flint 3-0, Grand Valley State 3-1 and St. Clair 4-1. The Saints then battled their way back into the lower bracket with an overtime win in Bracket 7. Tech tied the final game at six games, but in the end, St. Clair pulled out the win to show why they are headed to the CRL World Championship.

league of legends

This is the final week of the regular season. Tech will face Cleary on Tuesday and Cornell on Thursday.

The Huskies continue their run at the Temo Cup with another win! The Lambton College Lions fought back, but in the end Tech came away with a score of 2-1. The League of Legends team will play Illinois Tech on Saturday.

The Texans League of Legends team will participate in the Passage Bowl at Ferris State on Saturday.

Overtime 2

Tech’s Overwatch 2 team will participate in the Bandwidth Bowl at Ferris State on Saturday.

Super Smash Brothers: Ultimate

The Smash team will first face Full Sail University in the 16 NACE National Championship Tournament on Thursday.
