“We are very agnostic. Everyone says that, but we invest in the people we deal with and we see that they have a track record of excellence and we trust that they will understand. This week at the Tel Aviv beach event.
“Sempers is clearly one of the fastest growing companies in the world right now. “They had a rougher, more modest start, and I think that’s more surprising,” Carney said. “The founders Miki, Guy and Matan were tireless and I remember the days in their small office in Benny Brac, and the struggles until they moved to the States. The fact of the matter is they now have endless customers. As far as I know, they have zero hassle, very happy customers, and what they do is actually incredibly important.
“The fact that the markets are strong right now doesn’t mean it will last forever because it won’t and the technology has to dominate. It makes the world better, and in every field, and more efficient. So at the end of the day, tech companies and startups need it and I’m not too optimistic.”
