Another travel advisory from the US government has been issued for several regions in Mexico.
The State Department advises Americans to avoid visiting Baja California and the surrounding Mexican cities of Tijuana, Ensenada and Rosarito. He also mentioned that US citizens who encounter crime while traveling in Mexico are not helped by the US authorities.
“Such as murders, kidnappings, carjackings and robberies – it’s widespread and common in Mexico. “In many areas of Mexico, the U.S. government has limited capacity to provide emergency services to U.S. citizens,” the advisory said.
Mexican President Andrés Manuel López Obrador said in a statement about the recent uptick in violence that cartels and gangs “attacked civilians and innocent people as a form of revenge.” It is not only a conflict between two groups, but it has reached the point where it has started shooting at civilians and innocent people. “This is the saddest thing about this matter.”
