The program will provide up to $20,000 in one-time financial compensation to Texas businesses in the tourism, travel and hospitality industries that have been negatively impacted by COVID-19, according to the press release. To reimburse eligible businesses for eligible expenses.
Due to the size of the industry and the number of applicants, applications are being accepted at each level by industry sector codes, also known as the North American Industry Classification System (NAICS), according to the press release.
Eligibility Criteria:-
Businesses in the travel, tourism and hospitality industries are subject to basic eligibility criteria to qualify for the grant.
- Must move within the state of Texas.
- Effective before January 20, 2020
- A privately owned for-profit business or non-profit organization
- Provide services for events open to the public or in person
- It has been negatively impacted economically due to Covid-19.
- Otherwise, you will be eligible to receive this grant money and will not be barred from competing for federal awards, including general government suspension and disbarment.
- Businesses or organizations in eligible NAICS codes listed for travel, tourism, and hospitality include 71, 722, 7211, 7212, 5615, 561920, 312120, 312130, 312140.
