Chris NikicThe Ironman Triathlon’s first person with Down Syndrome, their Inspirational Achievement Award and the Kohl’s Award, will receive the Pioneer of Change Award for their work to bring inclusion and representation to the retail industry.
“Runway for Dreams celebrates and empowers all people with disabilities. I’m honored to help spread that message and play a small role in bringing more recognition to the world. We all belong and deserve to be celebrated,” said Aldridge.
Models featured throughout the show are from GAMUT management, Consulting and Talent Management Company Mindy ScheerIn 2019, it represents only people with disabilities.
Dreams’ fashion week runway shows raise awareness, educate consumers, advocate for industry change, provide scholarships to develop the next generation of designers, and raise money for the foundation to find fashion-forward clothing.
