A federal judge on Monday weighed a request to block the move, citing a section of the new Florida law that limits the way businesses can incorporate race-related concepts into employee training.
Legislation passed this year in the legislative session (HB 7) was a top priority of Gov. Ron DeSantis, who called it the “Stop Wrongs Happening to Our Children and Workers,” or Stop WOKE Act.
