The Bitcoin business model ‘Web5’ brings the social network to a new revenue phase

Social media entrepreneur Justin Rezvani isn’t a fan of raising capital to build a business. He does the opposite. He sold his Instagram influencer startup The Amplify in 2016 after bringing in over $4 million in revenue in year 1.

After beating himself to a brain injury caused by a metal plate, he is set to work again with Zion, a decentralized social network built on Microsoft’s co-developed identity protocol.

And the Lightning Network, the fastest way to send tiny amounts of Bitcoin.

His innovative business model of giving users the option to pay for additional Lightning features is already generating revenue, and he thinks it’s starting to grow.
