of Style Observer (SO) This year’s Essence Festival is putting on the best in fashion show! for three days, So Travel, culture and entertainment legend Tenny Clarke had front-row VIP seats to the explosion of fashion and stunning style in New Orleans, Louisiana.

The Visionary Voices dinner was an intimate event presented in collaboration with the social media giant. Tiktok and communications conglomerate Essence, celebrating visionary black creators who are changing the modern media landscape. The fabulous soiree saw culture disruptors, tastemakers and thought leaders come together, collaborating TiktokCreative Community Director Kudzi Chikumbu and Head of Diversity and Inclusion Communications Shavonne Charles Tiktok The event sought to celebrate black creators who are making an indelible impact on the social media landscape and amplifying diverse voices in the global entertainment industry.

Media Mavens x EssenceFest Takeover Brunch Let’s talk with 80 black women in Hollywood and beyond, working in journalism, influencers, media personalities and more, about their experiences in the media and entertainment circuit. Celebrity guest appearances from Tammy Roman VH1′s soon-to-premiere Caught in the law: Unfaithful, And Amara La Negra from Love and Hip Hop Miami. It was definitely a powerhouse affair with black girl magic on display, and the fashion accessories spoke volumes.

The 2022 Cultural Identity Festival presented by Coca-Cola celebrated the weekend with a series of events for fans, followers, fashionistas and friends from far and wide who flocked to the charming city of New Orleans. While Essence inspired a global audience with a variety of stories and immersive original content based on culture, equity and celebration, fashion definitely took center stage for three days. With headline performances from Nicki Minaj, Janet Jackson and New Edition, both celebrities and audiences stepped up their style game for next level and street style.
